Stamped with special cancellation BERN TRANSIT 5 DEZ. 1915.... Beautiful and brightly colored stamp on envelope, addressed to "Monsieur le directeur de la correspondance privée". The letter could not be delivered and was marked with the special cancellation "Return No Opportunity for Promotion" and returned to the International Bureau of the Postal Union. Verso stamped Bern 8.II.15-2 postman. The receipt is open on two sides (top and side). The stamp is perforated intact on all sides and very well preserved.
